What We Do

Pathfinder is an unlisted private company, established 2011.

Pathfinder currently operates two (2) exploration permits (100% WI) in the offshore Canning Basin.

We have a capable team, databases and networks.

Pathfinder’s main focus is to pursue the potential for the Phoenix-Roc-Dorado play to extend to the north. Pathfinder sees similar source and trap conditions within a closely related Triassic Delta system extending across WA 479 P and WA 487 P. We plan to undertake 3D seismic over our permits upon receipt of an Environmental Permit (EP) to map these lays in detail. Once the EP has been granted, Pathfinder will immediately engage with consultants/seismic contractors to undertake the 3D seismic.

We have:

• Interesting high-impact, low-cost exploration;
• Experienced Management and Board (in-house and in-waiting); and
• Current research on Investment Opportunities.

And just as importantly:

• Good networks, knowledge of ‘who is who’, essential for building the right team.

Pathfinder identified its frontier acreage in offshore Canning before the Phoenix-Roc-Dorado discoveries, which is the largest oil and gas discovery in Australia in decades.
